Activision announces Guitar Hero : World Tour, fourth musical game in this now world acclaimed franchise. To steal a part of Rockband's success, it will allow two new instruments apart from the usual guitar, namely the drum and the micro. Those who like challenges will be able to battle it out online with groups of four players in the Battle of the Band mode. Another really important feature is the possibility to create & share your own custom track, only without voice for copyright reasons.

Oh, and there's also the "Create-a-Rocker" mode where you can choose in details the appearance of your character. Release date : Autumn 2008.
